The new grants lines Next Generation comes from europe. With them, individuals and companies can have their costs of clean technologies installations reduced.
It is an ambicious line, with short time big challenges.

 

 

 

 

INFORMATION CONTAINED AND SUMMARIZED IN THE ROYAL DECREE -  477/2021 from 29th of june of 2021

 

What is subzidized?

The Royal Decree 477/2021 from 29th of june of 2021 presenta a line of subsidies state wide for renewable energy self-consumption, for the energies following:

  • Electrical energy generation installations
    • Photovoltaic
    • Eolic
    • Batteries for energy storage
  • Thermal energy generation installations
    • Aerothermal systems (wind-wind not included)
    • Geothermal
    • Hidrothermal
    • Thermic solar
    • Biomass

 

Who will manage the subsidies?

This subsidies will be managed by the autonomous comunities and present an incentivizer character

 

How long will they last?

The period of validity of the subsidies is until the 31/12/2023.

 

Who will be able to apply?

  • Individuals
  • Freelance workers
  • Companies
  • Public administration
  • Owners communities
  • Non-lucratie associations

 

Are they compatible with other subsidies?

They are NOT compatible withother subsidies destined to the same purpose.

 

Are the off-grid installations eligible?

They off-grid installations ARE eligible.

 

What criteria is stablished to grant the subsidy?

The applications will be processed in order of registration, and a provisional list will be provided in case the budget grows.

 

When will I know if I have been conceded the subsidy?

The resolution time is 6 months from the application date.

 

How much time do I have to do the intallation once I have been granted the subsidy?

The justification time is 18 months from the resolution date.

 

Can you be a beneficiary for different lines at the same time?

NO. You can only be eligible for one technology, destinatary, location or tied to the same consumption.

 

If my installation is NOT for the residential sector (third sector, industry, shops) do I have to communicate that I have recieved the subsidy?

In all cases (except the residential sector and certain biomass installations) it will be necessary to install a screen on a visible place where the generation and consumption information (electrical or thermal) are shown.

 

Are BATERIES eligible?

YES. The maximum eligible storage is 2 kWh per  installed photovoltaic kW. 

For betteries the minimum warranty for the equipment is 5 years.

The batteries havee to be part of the self-consumption system and cannot be connected straight to the grid.

 

What costs are eligible?

  • Materials and equipment, work site and installation
  • Control and monitoring equipment, auxiliar equipment
  • Civil work: roof reinforcement, ditches, etc.
  • Asbestos elimination on the occupied area (additional)
  • Canpies for photovoltaic installation (additional)
  • Projects creation, health and security, etc.
  • Up to a 4% (maximum 3.000€) for the management of the application

What costs are NOT eligible?

  • Environmental impact studies
  • Visas
  • Taxes, tributes, work licences, etc.
